Photography Submission Rules
The Lens Society photography club is designed to maintain a respectful and creative environment for all members. All submitted images must be original work created by the participant. Images that contain copyrighted material or are taken from other sources without permission will not be accepted. Participants are encouraged to submit photographs that reflect creativity, effort, and personal artistic expression.
To ensure fairness in voting and judging, all images must follow basic formatting requirements including JPG or PNG file types. Extremely large files may be rejected to maintain website performance, so please understand. Additionally, submissions should avoid inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated content. The goal of the club is to promote positive learning and improvement through photography.
Submission Guidelines
Each participant may submit multiple photographs, but only one entry per category will be considered for voting. Submissions should include a short description explaining the photo, including location, subject, and technique used. This helps voters understand the context behind each image and encourages storytelling through photography.
The voting process is community-driven, meaning all members can participate in selecting winners. Winners are featured in the gallery section of the website and highlighted as examples of strong photographic technique and creativity. Repeated violations of submission rules may result in removal from participation.
